Here are two hotels quite near campus that offer us a 21% discount, with a reservation deadline 24th of april!! (Norwegian kroner into US dollars: divide the sums by 7!)

Hotel Europa: Double room, incl. breakfast (Nok.):  1240,-; Single room: 940,-

Hotel Gyldenløve: Double room  incl. breakfast (Nok.): 1030,-; Single room: 780,-

Haraldsheimen Youth Hostel (really low price, no hotel standard) in the northern outskirts of Oslo, nearby to the famous city forest ("Oslo-marka") more or less surrounding Oslo. Nice for any distance hikes (forest roads / paths - no cars). Some 25 minutes nice tram ("trikk")-ride directly to college campus

Rent a cabin at Ms Innsvik - a boat down at the harbour can offer rooms at reasonable prices.
Bed and Breakfast Vigelandspark - a loveley place not far from the college campus, by the beautyful "Vigelandspark".
