USING TEXT IN THE ENGLISH CLASSROOM

INTRODUCTION

The video sequences were filmed in a 6th class in Bergen. They show various ways of actively and enjoyably involving pupils in the learning process.

The pupils are seen producing oral texts in a variety of text genres: poems, rhymes, songs, games, a dramatised reading of a book to an audience and a play performance based on a fairy tale.
